About Us

Sitting in church, listening to my pastor preach from the Book of Mark, I was struck by these words: “And he said to them, ‘Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation’” (Mark 16:15). I remember thinking about what it means to go into the world and proclaim the gospel—and that’s where 4JGEAR was born.

4JGEAR represents “Living for Jesus.” My vision was simple: place God’s Scripture on apparel to help spread His Word. As I learned and grew, I enrolled at Liberty University to study Scripture more deeply. In December 2023, I completed a theology program focused on the Word of God.

The beauty of Christ is that He gave us the Holy Spirit (Acts 15:8), and He wants us to use that gift to share His message and spread His Word.

God has also placed me in a Baptist church in Houston, Texas. After a thirty-two-year career in law enforcement, God redirected my life toward ministry and into pastoral service. My story is a reminder that God can use a broken man to teach His Word.

I intend to use 4JGEAR as a tool to share God’s truth. Each shirt is designed with a specific Scripture in mind—so when someone wears 4JGEAR, they’re given an opportunity to proclaim and spread the gospel of Christ.

God bless everyone.
